Where Foundations Get Stronger

LKG builds on the early exploration of Nursery with more structured, purposeful learning. Children develop stronger language skills, basic numeracy, and most importantly, the confidence to express themselves clearly in front of others.

  • 1. What age is required to join LKG?
    Children aged 4 to 5 years are eligible for our LKG programme. Children who have completed Nursery at iNTERACTiVE transition smoothly, and we also welcome children joining from other schools.
  • 2. What are the LKG school hours?
    LKG runs from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, a longer day than Nursery, designed to gradually build stamina and routine to prepare children for primary school hours.
  • 3. How does LKG teach phonics and reading?
    We use a structured phonics-based approach combined with storytelling, sight words and interactive reading activities. Children progress at their own pace while being gently guided toward independent reading readiness.
  • 4. Will my child get individual attention in LKG?
    Yes, we maintain a low student-teacher ratio in all our classes. Our teachers regularly assess each child's progress and adapt their approach to ensure no child is left behind or unchallenged.
  • 5. How will I know how my child is progressing in LKG?
    We provide regular progress updates, parent-teacher meetings and activity portfolios so you're always informed about your child's development, academically, socially and emotionally.
  • 6. Is homework given in LKG?
    Minimal, age-appropriate activities may be shared to reinforce classroom learning, but our philosophy is that children learn best through play and exploration, not pressure. Homework, if given, is always simple and enjoyable.
